Lazy Sunday

Ahh…the lazy Sunday.  A day to read the paper, straighten the craft area and let your children take over the living room with marble works.  Lovely.  I meant to get some cleaning done, but I just haven’t made it to that. I did list about 9 new yarns on Ravelry and finished a felted bag!  I’ve had it felted for ages, but today I finished the handles.

The handles are an old belt of Craig’s that I cut in half and sewed it on.  I will tell you I’m not especially happy with this bag due to its size (determined by me) and the uneven top seam (sewed by me).  I also didn’t have any leather thread/cord to sew the handles on.  But it’s done and it will hold yarn.  And if it continues to bug me, I have a friend who I can give it to.

Archie’s having a lazy day, too:

  2. I like it! I kinda want to make one.

  3. That is really cute! I love that you used an old belt to make the straps. I’ll be linking up for sure to show how awesome my crafty buddy is :)
