The baby blanket is 22 inches long:
22 inches of a 4 row monotonous pattern repeat. If I follow the instructions, I only have 11 inches more to go. There is now some urgency to the project as Keith & Christy had their baby! Name: Cassidy Emmeline. I can’t go and see this baby until the blanket is done! (or so I keep telling myself for motivation)
Look at my new notions bag…isn’t it cute? I bought it from Valerie, a girl who purchased a bunch of my stitch markers to use as zipper pulls.
See the button on the bag? That’s from my local yarn store. It says: “Just let me finish this row!” I got that with a gift certificate in a secret santa work exchange. “Santa” brought me this book for one of my stocking stuffers. I actually caught my husband reading it at the table while eating cereal. I was expecting some derisive comment, but he said nothing.
